Need directions to the field from Nasa Rd 1

Anyone find a hex starter shaft out at the field? I think I may have left mine out there and I don't want to buy a new one.

Any update on the field? Let me know if I can help out in any way.

Sounds about right. I flew over the field on Monday and could see the airplane canopy pieces all over the field. Mostly south and east of the runway. It also looks like the tin sheeting blew off of the generator housing because normally, the sun reflects off it but not that time.

I drove by the field yesterday (9/16). The gate was padlocked at Fellows Rd, but I could see that the canopy over the airplane pit area had been blown over. It was lying upside down in between the parking lot and the pit area. The helicopter pit canopy, however, appeared to be in tact.

Simon, I'm interested in the DX7, especially given what happened last Sunday. Shoot me a message -- Nate

There we go! Thanks Mike. I was getting a bit frustrated. I was so much into a routine in Michigan that I could tell you when and who would be at the field on any givin day. We also had a help day on Wednesday's that newbs could come out on for tuning, help,or just meeting friends. I can fly all I want here in my neck of the woods but there is only 2 heli pilots active In Texas City RC Club, that I have noticed so far. I'll try to escape this weekend. IS Sunday a better bet for yall?

We are here Texmech. You will find lots of pilots on the weekends, and a few guys during the week more so in the evening I would say.. No other sites that are part of this club though. Take care, Mike J.

Hello!! Bueller?? Where are all the Heli pilots at?

Texmech on 01 Aug : 01:58PM
Is there a regular flying day for most of you guys or is it sporatic? What are the odds of finding people at Tom Bass during the week after work? Iws there another site that is active during the week for after work flying?.
